Dave “Beans” was elected to the Department December 3rd, 1979 and served faithfully for 41 years. Dave was a proud Vietnam Vet, and his passion for public service was exemplified when he became a New York State certified Emergency Medical Technician. He was an integral part in the department’s EMS program. Besides his firefighting and medical emergency responses, Dave was active in the company’s Fire Prevention program and on the softball team.
He was always ready to serve.
Dave went Honorary on January 6th, 2021, at the age of 75 due to declining health.
David was the loving father of his sons; Bryan and Kris; and his daughter Dana. He adored his wife Beverly, and they shared a long and wonderful marriage. And he considered his step-son Michael Hines as his own. Combined, his children brought them four adorable grandchildren.
