The New Hartford Fire
Department is an all volunteer organization. To be a member, an individual must
be 18 years old or older, reside in the fire district, and have a valid New York
driver's license and a good driving record. Become a firefighter - Find your
inner self as a member of the New Hartford Volunteer Fire Department. All
candidates for the Fire Department must pass a background investigation.
